A classic giallo thriler from the father of the cinematic genre. Despite the hairstyles and fashions on display, the outlook is surprisingly modern, the twists are interesting and the camerawork beautiful, moving in unexpected ways.

Nice little suspense thriller. Bava's framing and use of colour is off the hook. Shame about the bad bad bad english dubbing. On a 2nd viewing (plus countless other watches on Gialli's) the dubbing dont mean squat. Classic and must see for Italian film fans.

Terrible Dubbing but amazing imagery and lighting in the film. The atmosphere and color really sets the mood for the entire premise. Even if you can't stand really bad voice over, it's still worth a watch.

one of the best Mario Bava's film! wonderful "mise en scene" and great gore scenes, very tough for that period! great example of "horror all'italiana"
