I was really skeptical going in because of how anime movies usually are, but I was pleasantly surprised by this Bleach movie. It shows what happens when you actually stick to the script. They did the smart thing and follow the manga almost to a T, in the movies story progressed astonishingly well. To be one hundred percent honest, had I not known that this was an anime, this movie would have stood on his own anyways. No complaints here.

For those of us who wanted a live action recap of the first season of the Bleach anime with questionable acting and CGI that is laughable. Most of the characters from the show are thrown in whether they have something to do or not. A thinly plotted mess as a result really, not nearly enough time for coherence to be possible.

I had a absolute blast with this movie. The acting and soundtrack added to the fun.
