Aqualoid was a prosperous planet, but an attack from a mysterious life force, the Inorganics, transforms it into a post-apocalyptic shell of its former self. When Nam finds a mysterious sword, he is suddenly the object of a planet-wide chase. With the Inorganics closing in, will Nam and his friends discover the secret of the sword and save their world? great use of music.. it really acts as an additional character in story telling. the opening scnene of Sean running in Central Park is worth the rental alone

An effective thriller precisely because it is true to the way sophisticated people might behave in this situation. Its characters are not movie creatures, gullible, emotional and quickly moved to tears. They're realists, rich, a little jaded.

I think most people have trouble with how slow and quiet this film is but I feel that's where it gets its strength. This is a very odd tale and its ambiguity is almost hypnotic. Jonathan Glazer is on his way to being one of the more challenging directors in the business.

Amazing, hypnotic movie with another outstanding performance by Nicole Kidman. The theatre scene is breathtaking, even though she doesn't speak a single word. Also, Anne Heche makes me remember that despite any craziness, she's a pretty good actor.

I loved this movie...being someone who believes in reincarnation...I understood it well.....The films ending left me feeling very "haunted". But I like that feeling. I saw this in the theater when it first opened....and most people did not get it....and walked out puzzled and disappointed, mainly because it is really really deep, those with an understanding of reincarnation can really only understand it. I think.
