I was tossing up whether to give this 4.5 stars or 5, but I think it deserves 5. I've always liked Ryan Kwanten, and even in his early days when he use to be on Home and Away you could see he was destined to be a great actor. This movie is deep on so many levels, some want like it, I think it's one of those movies that you'll either relate to or just not get it and think it's kind of stupid. This quote from the movie sums it up âI live in a completely different world to the one that everyone else lives in. I canâ(TM)t communicate to anyone, but I can talk to them, but I can not communicate. But you, Griff, you get into my bubble.â?

The trailer makes the film look like another in the "Kick-Ass," "Super," "Defendor" vein, but it's very much not. It's a sweet film with a nice message about people who see the world differently and our treatment of and reaction to them. Ryan Kwanten (from "True Blood") is solid enough in the lead role, but the real find of the movie is Maeve Dermody, his eventual love interest. She's got her own share of personal issues, but she's able to appreciate and love Griff for what he is. But not out of pity - something about this oddities work for her in a real way. Those who like to dwell in a bit of fantasy in their every-day lives will enjoy it.

Awww how sweet. They can be crazy together. I liked it better than Super and Defendor, but it's no Kick-Ass.

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It champions people who refuse to walk the well-trodden path. Critic who do't like it obviously prefers the obvious, the well-worn. This movie is inspiring and a real treat for the romantics in all of us. I predict this will become a cult classic.
