Could've been better . Where they went with the concept of the story it definitely could've been bigger, I was hoping it got there but it was ok . Less dramatics on the superstition & more with the story line .

My personal opinion as a fan of the horror genre is that this movie was great. I highly enjoyed the scary aspects of the manifested dreams and the drama of letting go after experiencing a loss. The actors did a phenomenal job in bringing credibility to their performances especially Jacob Tremblay. My only destain was the unfulfilling ending which offered no real closure or conclusion.

Not a very good horror movie. The villain and backstory are poorly fleshed out, there's little dread or suspense, the performances are wooden, and the story was poorly resolved. Half horror and half fairytale, the film drags in places, but the story manages to hold interest. A unique take on the supernatural, complete with beautiful imagery and scary shots. Worth a watch on a night in when you want some thrills, but still want to be able to sleep soundly.
