We've seen this movie many times before, but it is "cute" at times. Might be good for a first date, if that date is so cheap that they won't take you anywhere. Make sure ElCheapo date at least pays for the rental of "Barefoot." Yes, rent don't buy.

Bad, bad, bad. There was a moment towards the end they got me just a little bit with the love story angle but other than that ? nothing. Oh, one great quote from Even at a party discussion one rather skinny lady but that is the only redeeming value I found here.

A touching, if somewhat quirky romantic comedy/drama with interesting lead characters and a zany road trip plot.

Very refreshingly natural for a US movie. Simple plot line but so good not to have all the unnecessary hype generally the case with American productions. This movie demonstrated the superb casting of the actors who captivated us in a very naturally portrayed movie. Most enjoyable from a Kiwi (NZ) perspective.
