Barbershop (2002)

A day in the life of a barbershop on the south side of Chicago. Calvin, who inherited the struggling business from his deceased father, views the shop as nothing but a burden and waste of his time. After selling the shop to a local loan shark, Calvin slowly begins to see his father's vision and legacy and struggles with the notion that he just sold it out.

The story and plot is pretty much irrelevent, as the dialogue and characters are so rich and well-developed you get lost in the dynamics of the titular barbershop. Cleverly written, and alot of heart make this a very nice little flick.

Very enjoyable and not only quite funny but also makes you think about the usual stuff like life and life choices ... I enjoyed this one.
