Assassin 33 AD is movie that expertly intertwines science with religion - time travel and Christianity. It taps into your faith - in humanity, in God (if you’re religious), and in yourself. The film is a courageous endeavor that threads through the tricky time travel concept. What other way to create a huge impact in history than to go back to the time of Jesus’ crucifixion? Christianity is on the brink of dissolution.

Boy, Assassination 33 A.D. doesn’t lack for ambition. By turns prophetic and pious, pistol-packing and profane, it is the nuttiest “Jesus movie” since “Life of Brian.”

Aimee’s line: “You allowed all this for the sake of one?” will remind one of his own self-worth. Sometimes we doubt our faith when our lives start to take a turn for the worse, and Assassin 33 AD sends a message that even if humans could control time, God still conquers all. It shows how He allows seemingly unfortunate events to bring about a greater good.
