The Eighth Doctor's only outing - and yet he's still my favourite. If only he got better stories he'd really have shone.

Decent send-off for the Seventh Doctor and generally good performance from Paul McGann as the one-off Eighth Doctor; the rest of the cast, however, feel awkward and out-of-place. The story is also, not that great, but serves as a jumping on point for new fans.

Unlike the revived TV series which is easily accessible to anyone, this really is a Doctor Who story for the fans. The story is an intriguing one, and very well performed by all the cast. The production values of this Doctor Who are fantastic, this and McGann is easily one of the best Doctors to date. There is one problem though: why the hell has the Doctor suddenly become half human?!
