well acted and well paced drama about a family trying to heal and fulfill the dead grandparents last wishes. amazing performances esp from the kid the best since jerry maguire or the sixth sense

I had been under the impression that this film was a comedy; it isn't.. its a 2 hour long funeral.. one that I cried through... strange.. first and only time I'd cried at a film or at a funeral (real or not). Was this because I was prepared for a comedy?

Reminded me of Graham Swift's "Last Orders."

Fathers and sons and the difficult and sometimes f... up path of parenthood. Great acting by Christopher Walken, Caine always a joy, cutest and adecuate in his role Josh Lukas. Adorable and well acted Jonah Bobo. Good rythm and excellent music. Those sunsets are a plus, too!
