A slick, vapid thriller. Cronenberg has style and flair, but his all-too-obvious ideas about fame leave us with caricatures, not characters.

I enjoyed it, very unsettling and clinical film with a scary ending. Shows how the celebrity culture could end up, with skin grafts, cannibalism and virus infection.
