Liverpool. 1947. Right after World War II, a star struck naive teenage girl joins a shabby theatre troupe in Liverpool. Deliciously twisted! Rickman and Grant play such interesting roles, and as usual both do a superb job. Highly recommended.

Wow. Really disturbing, and very strange characters. Rickman is brilliant in this film, as usual.

Alan Rickman was a brilliant actor in this film. He happens to play an actor, and a man who seduces almost any wonman. Including a 16 year old girl. The movie had a twisted plot, that I enjoyed through out.

This movie. Ugh, it addresses a lot, but ends in an inarticulate way. But not just that, it leaves the audience hanging, not because it is sooooo good, but because it leaves you going "WTF?" I love how Newell did not allow Rickman to speak for the first 5 minutes he was onscreen; I never wanted to hear a man's voice so bad *wink* Goddamn, the only reason this movie is getting 3 stars is because of Rickman.
