Inexplicablemente, la estúpida cinta "American Ninja" tuvo cuatro secuelas. La segunda parte es igual de imbécil que la primera. Y ahora sin un solo actor decente (John Fujioka ya no sale), no hay redención.

"Ninja? What the hell are ninja?" When Marines on a tropical paradise start disappearing, it's up to Curtis Jackson and the American Ninja, Joe Armstrong (often imitated, never duplicated) to get to the bottom of things. With a little help, Jackson and Armstrong must stop an evil scientist from creating his own brand of genetically engineered super ninjas. SERIOUSLY. Alright. The skinny on this film: 'American Ninja 2' is hella fun. This is easily the second greatest movie ever made. Everything from the theme song to the fight scenes, the Val Kilmer-lookalike to the cheesy acting may not scream Oscar, but it sure screams entertaining. On top of that, the plethora of one liners generated from this masterpiece can be applied to any aspect of our daily lives: "Rangers, my son, rangers." This is truly a movie to snub the critics and entertain the masses.

Better even than the first, for several reasons: 1) its inexplicably set in the Caribbean, 2) the still managed to shoe-horn in an army of ninjas, 3) Steve James's epic punch up that ends with him yelling "STAY DOWN!", causing a ninja to give up, 4) Ninja master uses a shotgun, misses.

More enjoyable than the first, but still pretty dumb. Why do I give it 4 stars? Because I can.
