John Matrix, the former leader of a special commando strike force that always got the toughest jobs done, is forced back into action when his young daughter is kidnapped. This movie is everything ideal about action movies, espeically in the 80's, visualized on the silver screen. Commando tears through your sensibilities and into my heart. I wonder why most action movies aren't like that anymore.

What a cheesy action movie! I have loved this movie since I was about 10 years old. I have probably seen it over 100 times and can recite every word of the movie.

Films that are usually about the action are usually not very good or great, cause, well... they're too much about the action and they contain lousy story lines that are an excuse to bring on the action! Commando can be considered one of these types of films, except it actually contains a good story line that is actually a good excuse to bring on the excessive, awesome action that occurs in this movie. Now those kind of movies aren't very common, so Commando in a way is a one of a kind movie. It's silly, corny, action packed, and just awesome, because Arnold Schwaznegger is awesome and the director really knows how to make a kick ass action flick! It gets better and better as you watch it more and more!

Very simple plot but amazing action film. A no brainer, just bring the popcorn and put your brain off. But it's worth it. This is my favorite movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it. Throughout the movie, you wonder who the hell would mess with this guy, I certainly wouldn't lol. Some humor very will timed a la Arnold right before the killing blows. I've watched this movie probably over 20 times and it's rewatch value has not diminished yet for me.
