Kim Ki-Duk is throwing his movie in your face as violently as he can. A brilliant and tragic criticism of the post-90 korean society

Typical to Kim Ki-duk, getting straight into the middle of a painful issue. This time a village with the social scars left since the Korean war. It's still ongoing and it hurts alot.

This one is probably for Kim Ki-Duk completists only. It is a remarkable film in its relentless presentation of pain. Every single scene in this 2 hour film involves pain, emotional or physical.
