Paris, 1910. Emile, a shy movie projectionist, and Raoul, a colourful inventor, find themselves embarked on the hunt for a monster terrorizing citizens. They join forces with Lucille, the big-hearted star of the Bird of Paradise cabaret, an eccentric scientist and his irascible monkey to save the monster, who turns out to be an oversized but harmless flea, from the city's ruthlessly ambitious police chief.

Un vraiment bon film francais. Les chanson sont très bonne, l'histoire est touchante. C'est un de mes films préféré!

Although the plot might be fairly obvious, I was honestly surprised by the beauty of each frame. From the lighting, to the textures and the observation done of Paris in 1910. Just beautiful. The scenes captured from the "Monster's" perspective were very cleverly done. I am in awe with the people involved with this feature film. Thank you .. my kids loved the scene where the flea finds its musicality.

I highly recommend this film. It has so much charm to it and part of that charm is the music. It's not an ordinary animated film. It really could be made into a live action film.

The animation is not exactly glossy but it gets the job done and with its cinema homages and oddball storytelling this musical animation is a fun visit to the cinema. Its odd but in its very own splendid way.

I just watched this with my 4 year old daughter. I thought it was a very good movie. A little beyond her, but she understood it and likes the movie ad well. She even got up and was dancing during the singing parts.
