I was looking forward to this one and I do feel it met my expectations. Intense rock climbing thriller that tumbles into a sweat inducing ransom chase. Felt like someone put all my nightmares into a blender! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality fresh thriller. Also available on VOD.

A generous three stars, the start was slow, the acting was a bit dodgy in places and the storyline was basic, but it managed to keep my attention throughout because of the action. I think I would say an average film for a DVD night in rather than the big screen.

Great low budget thriller hard to believe they only had a budget of 4million to make the film and it stands well along films with hugely vaster budgets with which to work with. Melissa George is great,and the two bad guys who are the kidnappers are two of the most convincing and disturbing bad guy parts I've seen played in some time. It works well too as they both get there dues by the end,in the end. So much so that when Melissa George finishes one of them of at the end I was shouting out during the whole scene and shouted out yes!!!when she got him!!:) A really good thriller but quiet violent at times so I don't recommend that you let kids watch this.

As an independent Brit picture this is pretty good, with excellent photography and, on the whole, good performances. The story moves along at a brisk pace and the main protagonists are suitably psychopathic, with some well-staged set pieces and some excellent climbing footage (it helped that I've actually done the climb in the opening sequence). Some interesting moral questions are raised that you may find yourselves discussing afterwards!

What an intense flick this was. I wasn't expecting much from it and didn't know anything about it and it made the movie that much more intense. While I was watching this movie I kept thinking, "This is kinda like The Decent, only above ground." And the first half really was, it had the same basic principles of The Decent, group of friends go rock climbing out in a remote area and are stalked by relentless predators. Not only do you get the intensity of the danger they're in from being stalked, you also get the added fear of being in an area that's full of natural dangers and not easy to escape. And it's just about as intense of a film with a nice story that slowly unfolds, some really terrific performances and plenty of graphic violence. Great flick, highly recommended.
