Nacho Libre (2006)

Ignacio, a disrespected cook at a Mexican monastery, can barely afford to feed the orphans who live there. Inspired by a local wrestling hero, he decides to moonlight as the not-so-famous Luchador "Nacho Libre" to earn money for the monastery -- not to mention the admiration of beautiful nun Sister Encarnación.

Probably Jack Black's best performance, but Hector Jimenez made me laugh ("I don't believe in God, I believe in science") until I cried. Colorful and funny, but never vulgar, though maybe Mexicans won't like it.

How anyone cannot enjoy this movie is beyond me! There is so many classic lines, and moments. Jack Black is genius in this movie, and plays a much more calm character than normal, which makes him very likeable. Never a dull moment in this one! I can only pray for a sequel to this one!

The cinematography here is not to be missed. Jack Black has great timing, and the story has no lack of whimsy and inspiration. This is a classic... get that corn outta my face!

This movie was amazing. The story line was cheesy and a few of the characters could of been built up more, but Jack Black was incredible who was helped by other characters who didn't have to do much but made the movie. I enjoyed it a lot.
