This is quite possibly my favorite film from Mr. Spike Lee. For someone who has an immense obsession with questions of morals and humanistic motivations, this is a true delight. Spike's visual and visceral flare does not hurt either. If you have not seen this, do check it out. This piece was produced fresh from the ruins of 9/11, and Spike represents the New York City that was in full effect at that place and time. Peace.

Spike Lee's masterpiece. Edward Norton is amazing here. this is a great story, perfeclty directed and written with great performances from edward Norton, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Anna Paquin, Barry Pepper and Brian Cox. I love the monologue scene in the bathroom. Overall, just a perfect film. My favorite film from Spike Lee.

This is a fantastic movie, and quite likely Spike Lee's best film. Norton leads a terrific cast into a deep character study. Norton also has one of Lee's best monologues ever. Such an amazing film I can't recommend it strongly enough.

Great script, great acting, great direction. Edward Norton's monologue about America post-9/11 is fantastic. Over the years with every viewing, this film is rising higher and higher up my favourites lists. It's a really original piece, and Edward Norton throws everything but the kitchen sink at the screen, and so does Philip Seymour Hoffman. One to watch, not to miss. I love it, a lot.
