Another great film from Spike Lee- One of my ultimate favorites. Great performances set against Post 9-11 NYC, in body and spirit.

This is quite possibly my favorite film from Mr. Spike Lee. For someone who has an immense obsession with questions of morals and humanistic motivations, this is a true delight. Spike's visual and visceral flare does not hurt either. If you have not seen this, do check it out. This piece was produced fresh from the ruins of 9/11, and Spike represents the New York City that was in full effect at that place and time. Peace.

A restrained and beautifully realised piece of cinema, certainly Lee's best since 'Do The Right Thing'. Edward Norton is, as per usual, magnificent, but so too is the whole supporting cast, especially Brian Cox who has rarely been better. Intelligent, subtle, sensitive... cathartic. One of my absolute favourite films.
