DONNIE YEN? 14 BLADES to torture and execute any of Donnie Yen's victims? Wei Zhao? A great cast? WINNER! Oh wait, nevermind. This movie started off good and gradually shrinked to mediocrity. The action scenes are decent, but eventually gets boring and cliche. If you've seen a lot of martial arts flicks, it's really more of the same, only with a worse story than usual. Anyway, this turned out to be one of the Donnie Yen films you can skip if you like. I'll still wait for my Ip Man 2, please.

quite a good movie in fact. despite wu zun's ultra weird and small shirt. eee... and his accent. hmmm... but donnie yen was good. his expression, his pain, his coolness, his looks, his strong heroic figure just impressed me. two things that irritated me was the sound of the blades with tuo tuo's fighting sound. covered my ears when those happen. but on the whole, i enjoyed the movie.

Enjoyable martial arts/wu xia action adventure starring Donnie Yen. May be not his best (difficult to surpass Ip Man or Wu Xia), but above average with a delectable concoction of action and romance.

Ginilah seharusnya film Donnie Yen. Banyak bak bik buk keren. Tapi sayang masih kalah keren sama Ip Man.
