focuses mostly on the fighting, hasty in explaining the storyline

Lots of wirework, it's like Peter Pan set in ancient China with swords with people flying around everywhere. Donnie Yen is good as usual, story is pretty cheesy. Too much pseudo-philosophy.

the swordfights were pretty well choreographed and the martial arts display was fast-paced. the only thing lacking here is a solid story; the one presented in the show was only an excuse to showcase the action - and selling the show on action alone is too huge a gamble to make.

Donnie Yen has a box that contains 14 blades made for killing need I say more? No that's enough to know this movie is bad ass.

This movie was a long drawed out Asian movie along the lines of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I loved the scenery it was amazing and the dynasty of China they were depicting was a mixture cause you could see the references to other cultures as well with the costumes. The storyline was about a seal and how its safe keeping was of great importance. On top of this u had a gang leader that kidnapped the daughter of one of the leaders of one of the providences. However within this kidnapping a love story blossoms. It is a very lovely story however a tad too long for my liking.
