The Direction of Ridley Scott and the excellent performances of Michael Douglas,Andy Garcia,Yusaku Matsuda and Ken Takakura transformed an average story into a top cop thriller of the 80's. Personally I found the movie extremely exciting and very inspirational.Whenever I watch this movie I watch it with the same vigour and excitement as I did when I watched it for the first time. My rating is 5 stars and I recommend it as a must watch for action-movie buffs.

This is NOT just another corny 80's movie. This movie has depth and shape to it. The soundtrack is awesome and Michael Douglas makes his character have more than the 80's touch. When Douglas' partner is murdered in Japan, you know that there will be hell to pay but like I said, this is NOT another 80's movie. It's more than that. This is definitely worth watching over and over.
