A great film, although a pale sequel (or should that be prequel, as it takes place before) to Zulu. Some great actors; it's one of those films you watch and go ' hang on, wasn't that...?!' The noise of the Zulu chant still has a chilling effect.

Prequel to Zulu and well shows the contempt with which the "civilised" world held with the native and "savage" peoples of this world. Another epic, wish they made more like this.

Brilliant! Even if I love the first one, I find this Zulu Dawn even better! Great cast, great scale and professional direction. Stories of defeats end up telling more than stories of victories.

An epic about the worst single day defeat for the British armed forces, one of the most truly powerful stories in history, when men could still fight the good fight against the savage and untamed forces of Africa. A story of heroism and and tenacity in the face of impossible odds, although the British lost, they made a last stand worthy of rememberance.
