Story GREAT! Would recommend this to any nerd

More action, more drama, more visual effects, more wolverine, more mutants, a mutant genocide centric plot (with a twist), and at the helm of it all is Singer, giving us one of the best X-Men movie's to date. Proving a film can handle more than what we believe is possibly, Singer throws us some great mutant to look at on screen (Nightcrawler's introduction is particularly fantastic to watch) and some real issues they must contend with. Although the door was left wide open for a Phoenix sequel, Singer had left the franchise to pursue mightier heroes (Superman Returns) but in time, he himself would return for X-Men: Days of Future Past. This film paved the way for other hero films such as The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Batman Vs. Superman, showing that more can, at times and done well, mean better!

While I have a slight preference for the first film, this sequel is everything you could hope for in a sequel since it retains everything that made the original awesome, while delving even deeper into its characters. Like the first film, it is a great character-driven story, and also a great action film. It's a thrilling experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend it if you love a good action flick.

This is so much better than the first film. It is the perfect sequel, and it ends in the most awesome way possible. This movie will leave you wanting so much more.
