I've only watched one other Hepburn/Spencer film, which was also very comedic and fun to watch. This one, though, has a more serious undertone towards the middle of the movie; the struggles and realizations of a real marriage. Though Spencer isn't exactly the typical Hollywood hunk, he's definitely got a charm and comedic timing about him that makes him likable, and watchable. I was just afraid that I was going to wake my housemate up in the next room because I was laughing in the middle of the night.

Could they have been any better? Could they have possibly had more chemistry? The film that started off their romance, Woman of the Year is the quintessencial Tracy-Hepburn - funny, with a lot of personality, and full of emotion. What a dynamic duo those two made! Completely, stunningly fabulous - Katharine's sassiness and Spencer's charm, the perfect match. Great flick.

This was a really good movie, only a few points that are cringe-worthy which is pretty amazing considering this movie focuses on a career woman in the 40's.

My favorite Tracy-Hepburn film. I love how she realizes finally that achieving status and fame isn't what gives beauty to life.
