Expertly acted by the two leads but I have to say I am disappointed with the character Hepburn played, the classic "victim" who needs a man to make her life complete.... :(

They stopped making quality movies in this sub-genre of romantic comedy somewhere after 1950. I don't know why.

The first teaming of Tracy and Hepburn shows the chemistry between the stars, setting the pattern for future and better battle of the sexes romantic comedies.

the first of many tracy/hepburn films and it was easy to see why they continued....their chemistry is amazing....not the strongest story or the most classic film, but it was most definately entertaining.....i would recommend this film to anyone that wants to see a romantic comedy at its best
