Pretty remarkable, especially given the year it was made. The effects and the way it was shot is very impressive. Not to mention Clar Bow! She is a vision.. The first winner of the Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

A welcome, fun and pretty epic introduction to the Hollywood film. This was the first film to win an Oscar, and from my perspective it seems pretty well-deserved.

Amazing movie that still holds up today. The story is superb and the aerial battles are quite stunning to say they were shot over 80 years ago. All 3 leads do a great job. For me the stunts are all the more special because you know they were real.

Winner of the first best picture Oscar, this love triangle set against the first world war is simply stunning. The aerial scenes are quite amazing for 1927 and it wasn't long before I was completely sucked into this story.

Very entertaining. I was actually talking to the screen ("No, David!" "Don't be a moron, Jack!" etc...). Charles Rogers and Richard Arlen were good, and Clara Bow was excellent.
