Deep in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia, where every man owns a gun and a moonshine still, abides living legend Jesco White, "the dancing outlaw". As a boy Jesco was in and out of reform school and the insane asylum. To keep him out of trouble, his daddy D-Ray taught him the art of mountain dancing, a frenzied version of tap dancing to wild country banjo music. After his father's death, crazy Jesco dons his father's tap shoes and takes his show on the road.

See the "Wounderful White of West Virginia" first since this fills you in on a little of the history of the Notourious family. A great gem that I never have heard of. On netflix streaming now.

The movie takes the audience on a weird trip. It is more psycho thriller then a horror film. The great cinematography and soundtrack create a very intense atmosphere, which will stay with the viewer for a long time.

A life story of a drug addict who after childhood in a family of a violent father adolescence in a foster home and youth in a prison boils on a mix of violence and murder. After having a ' lightning' he has a revenge on thugs who had killed his wife, disfigures himself and dies. Hard stuff I will never like.
