The same old, played out, worn out retread we've seen a hundred times. But sometimes you'e in the mood for the same old, played out, worn out retread we've seen a hundred times. Just with different faces.

There's not much much to say about this movie. It was bad and annoying and some of the people she killed needed to be killed. Plus, the story didn't make much sense. An abused young girl somehow falls in love with the man who prosecuted her mother (I think) and then grows up, becomes nanny to his children and then kills his nosy neighbor, lecherous coworker, his wife's friend and then attempts to kill his wife and take over the family. How lame is that? It wanted to be more than just a shitty TV movie, but ended up turning into worse than a TV movie (you know what I mean). In a suspicion/drama/murder movie such as this movie (I think) was trying to be, the characters need to be suspicious for more than three seconds before the final confrontation. And the confrontation was really lame. And who calls a live-in nanny a sitter anyway? A sitter is a teenage girl who drops by on a Friday night, not a full time, live-in woman paid for child care.

Practically a remake of "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" - school bully scene, check, nosy friends and neighbours suspiciously dying off, check, villian with a past connection to the family, check. Makes the most of photogenic Mariana Klaveno.

Love will make you do crazy things. This is the reason why Abby took a job as a baby sitter. While the Children Sleep, or The Sitter, is a very crazy thriller! Abby picked a job as a baby sitter, so she can get close to her dream man, Carter Eastman, who is married with two very adorable children. During her quest as baby sitter she tries to get close to Carter, but neighbors and friends get in the way. What is the best way to solve this problem? Get rid of the irritant! By killing the most closest acquaintances to the family, Abby's dark past is now revealed. In the end, the Eastman family regrets their decision to hire a baby sitter. Overall, this movie reminds me of a combination of Halloween (2007) and Funny Games (2008)! It's a must see!

Maybe it's not an original idea but I don't care. I enjoyed this thriller and was actually rooting for the babysitter lol. Something about her was so perfectly evil.
