Where the Day Takes You (1992)

King is a young man, but he's already a veteran of life on the streets of Los Angeles. The de facto leader of a group of teenage runaways, King acts as a mentor to troubled kids such as gay hustler Little J and junkie Greg. When Heather, a beautiful girl from Chicago, starts hanging out with King and his crew, it changes the dynamic of the gang. However, it seems as though nothing will alter their dangerous lifestyle.

Many of these young actors went on to big careers in this overlooked little gem...bittersweet but engaging.

This is my all time favorite movie. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it! It makes you open your eyes to what some kids go through in thier lives. It has an excellent cast! Sean Astin is my favorite actor so this was one of the reasons I saw this movie. But awsome story. Very sad, but true.

This is Rebel Without a Cause without the grown-ups and without boundaries, transposed to a world of hard drugs, petty crime, hand-to-mouth existence and hopes that somehow will not die.

A great reason not to do drugs. My daughter will see this when she can understand it. One of the reasons I didn't do anything harder than weed.

the title says it all, lots of celebs before they were celebs in this film. The movies hard to find but worth the purchase.
