Awesome movie! Very few movies portray friendship and brotherhood as endearing as Wheels. But, what makes this movies so amazing is the way it addresses such dark subjects as suicide, drug use, and homelessness with such grace and dignity and even lightening it up with humor.

I didn't know what to expect when I saw "Wheels," the first of what I hope will be many more films by writer/director/star Donavon Thomas, but I was blown away by the quality of this film. Not only was it beautifully shot - better than a lot of big budget movies I've seen this year - but it also had an intriguing and compelling story, and characters that you care about and pull for from beginning to end. The fact that they made this incredible and moving film with apparently very little financing, is truly remarkable. It's a must-see!

A truly Los Angeles experience about two men in search of themselves whilst being in wheelchairs though that is not their real handicap. A unique film, I have never seen anything quite like it.

This movie was incredible! It has been a long time since I have seen a film that balanced comedy and drama so beautifully. An amazing heartfelt film with an incredible cast, this movie is a must see!

I discovered this film on the Meetup App and was pleasantly surprised at the cinematography and storyline. This is a beautiful, if twisted, depiction of two paraplegic drug-addled characters trying to understand why there's a reason to keep going. The chemistry was surprisingly good and worked well. Though they were often at odds with each other--and the main character was often fairly passive, save for his suicidal tendencies--they grew to connect with one another, which made their bond all the more touching.
