Umm this is just plain weird. Entertaining turns from Reynolds and Winters in the 'autumn' of their careers (39 and 51 respectively, at the time) and you are largely kept guessing until the end, although the twist isn't exactly shocking. Stylistically, this is on a par with higher budget Hammer I'd say, and is the same sort of thematic structure and narrative you get in those types of films. Drags a bit in some parts; the best description is part Hammer, part Ham.

Not exactly what I expected. The thriller element was not well presented, not exactly a drama either. I enjoy the dance, sure, but that's all there is. The psycho biddy element was down played. However, I liked the twist at the end.

An unseemly vibe of failed comedic horror, or - depending on your point of view - successfully bad high camp, with an inordinate number of incongruous dance numbers.

I LOVE THIS FILM. BIZARRE BUT COMPLETELY ORIGINAL, FUNNY, CREEPY, AND JUST A GREAT FILM. A TRUE CULT CLASSIC, REYNOLDS GIVES ONE OF HER BEST FILM PERFOMANCES AND WINTERS IS ONCE AGAIN OFF THE CHARTS IN A HILARIOUS PERFORMANCE AS A WOMAN WHO IS LOSING TOUCH WITH REALITY WHILE DEALING WITH A VENGEFUL STALKER.
