Imaginative video sequences, animation, thought-provoking observations on religion, philosophy, politics and the nature of existence, are among the scattered gems to be found in this long, sluggish, artsy film.

This is a mixed-bag doc. Great idea. Wonderful story to follow. But it's too long. And seems repetitive. And confusing at times talking about to many people we don't know. It's as if we needed to know all about the life of Joaquim Pinto before we see this film.
