Werewolf (1996)

After an archaeological team in Arizona unearths a werewolf skeleton and one of them develops symptoms of lycanthropy before dying, the dig's foreman, Yuri, tries to infect other townspeople as an experiment. When a science writer named Paul takes up residence in the town to cover the dig and develops a romantic interest in a female team member, Yuri makes Paul his next target.

Horrible effects and some silly puppets. The characters are terrible and the story doesn't offer much with a very unsatisfying ending. There's a lot of stupid moments and bad humor, but it makes a great MST3K episode.

20% as a standalone film; 80% as an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which is how I watched it. So unbearably bad in every aspect.

This is such a bad movie. It's so bad that it actually goes round full circle and ends up entertainingly awesome. I'm giving it a higher rating than it deserves because I like cheesy "warwulf" movies.
