I know what you're going to say "Adrienne, this movie is about a corpse coming to life, i've seen countless movies like that, what's the catch?" Well let me tell you dear movie-goer, this is no ordinary corpse, this is a voodoo corpse who can't help but groove to some cool island tunes! Fun for the whole family- who can forget that delightful actress who fell in love with Bernie saying "oh Bernie, you're such a great dancer!" Such charming comic acting and wacky mishaps only Robert Klane can bring us! A fun filled romp that'll have you laughing to DEATH! AND BACK AGAIN! THROUGH VOODOO MAGIC!

The premise is more comical this time (felt like this was inspiration for one of Leisure Suit Larry's adventures), but it's still a good movie, with good comedians doing turns as characters, with only the women seeming to be plain or falling flat. Again, kudos to Terry Kiser for playing the lifeless Bernie with a fair bit more to do thanks to Voodoo animation. It's a shame Kiser is too old to make a third film, but I can see a remake being thought about. Here's hoping they don't screw it up. Doing well so far with films aimed at the same level, like the two Harold and Kumar films.

If the first film was magical, then this film can only be classified as supernatural. One of the greatest peices of art of all time. A must see.
