Great black and white weepie with some fab acting fom Vivien Leigh, Robert Taylor does his best but is a bit miscast. Very well shot and directed although Londoners will notice the set and backdrop discrepancies to the period and city of the time.

I watched this version because of Vivien Leigh. She is an amazing actress, which is why I checked this one out. A very tragic but excellent romantic story.

This is a beautiful film......... Rob Taylor did a great... but Vivien Leigh just stole the show!!!

The Movie Channel said that this was Vivien's favorite movie (even incl GWTW) and you could see her beauty and talent show through. This was a lovely romance... that made me cry. Would see it again, but turn it off to not see the last 10 minutes.
