Different, but still holds, Warrior is just another fighter movie but within the MMA. It is almost hard to watch in the last round, where one brother won't go down, well, without a fight. And of course, you can't have a sports movie, without a montage sequence. It goes by faster than you think, but surrounded with Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". This film had some great character development, but it was a little hard to catch why the two brothers are mad at each other in the first place. That should of been stressed more throughout the film.

For all its titular bravado, Warrior never lets the audience forget the economic and spiritual desperation driving its two main characters, who bleed for the screaming arena crowd in exchange for their shots at redemption, and offer a rare glimpse of soul in a type of film that usually isn't obliged to provide one.

Great great movie. I didn't expect too much from this, but it delivered a wonderful emotional story I really felt, as well as incredibly realistic fight scenes.

With great MMA fights and powerful storytelling, "Warrior" is definitely a triumph. I really don't know which brother I liked better: Tommy, an ex-Marine with regrets whose trying to make up and repair for it, or Brendan, whose family's welfare rides on his success or failure. You too will face this tough decision in this amazing film.
