If you want to see a monster/horror movie, you will be disappointed. If you want to see a movie that focuses on the relationship between two interesting characters, I think you'll enjoy Victor Frankenstein. Radcliffe and McAvoy were fantastic individually and as a pair. They made me love the characters, and their strong chemistry made me believe in their friendship. I thought the movie was engaging and visually beautiful, with just the right amount of suspense.

A great remake of an old horror movie told like never before. Definitely exciting, riveting and captivating film. Definitely a must see!

Absolutely blown away by this movie. It tells the story of Victor Frankenstein like never seen before. It really pits Creationism and Darwinism together like never before and it has some really interesting ideas representing both sides. It never really shows either side as being the 100% right side and I thought that was really interesting, (despite Darwinism being the 100% right side). The characters were done so well, Dr. Frankenstein was such a deep character with flaws and strengths. Throughout the movie I wasn't really sure whether or not I was suppose to be rooting for him, and I think it takes a truly good written movie to have that kind of skill. So, if you're interesting in a philosophical movie with humor and deep themes, I'd definitely give Victor Frankenstein a shot.

It was good. I didn't regret seeing it. A bit of a spin from the older Frankenstein films, which makes a bit of fun.

An unneeded shallow adaptation of the Mary Shelley classic, trying desperately but unsuccessfully to put a new spin on the familiar Gothic story.
