2067: Isolation: Japan seals herself off from the eyes of the world in the face of unilateral international policy setting strict limits on the use of robotic technology. The island nation exists only behind a veil of seclusion. No soul shall enter. No soul shall leave. 2077: Revelation: The veil is breached. Japan is infiltrated by agents of the organization S.W.O.R.D., a fighting force operating outside of the protection of the United States and her allies. for a movie by the makers of Appleseed, this movie was a little disappointing. the action was cool, but not amazing, the story was interesting, but not great, the characters were alright but could have been better. all in all, this movie was good, not great, but i liked it alright. the action was the saving grace for me.

Quite probably the best Japanese Animated Science Fiction that I've seen this year, well thought out and intelligently presented. An absolute must see for any fan of Science Fiction.
