Widowed mother Mildred must suddenly redefine herself and find an outlet for her nurturing side when her adult daughter moves out of the family home. Though Mildred thinks she's found her purpose when her neighbor, overworked single mother Monica, asks her to look after her little boy, she has great difficulty learning to strike a healthy balance between giving selflessly to others and remembering to take care of herself.

Nick Cassavetes does his father no disservice with this film anchored by his mother Gena Rowlands and Marisa Tomei. Nicely done.

This is a heartwarming film about somethings you don't really see. It has good performances and kind of a different look at some of the conventions of Hollywood. The ending is open ended but I guess at any age you can learn something more about yourself.

I know u shouldn't judge a book (or movie) by its cover or title but this is one of my favourite movie titles and a reel good com-dram.

A great film starring Gena Rowlands and Marisa Tomei, more people should see. Very well acted.
