Tries to be better than Maximum Overdrive, but failed. Honestly though, I love Stephen King and Stephen King movies but I was far from disapointed when I saw this.

Voice 1: you know that so-so Stephen King film about machines coming to life and killing humans? Voice 2: you mean Maximum Overdrive? Voice 1: Yes! It has that great AC/DC song and Emilio Estevez starring. Voice 2: yeah, it was ok, but not great. Voice 1: well what if we remake it only this time without any cool stuff whatsoever? Voice 2: WTF???

this is a remake of maximum overdrive which is way better. but this was watchable non the less .

This remake of Stephen King short story, Maximum Overdrive, is less scary than Emilio Estevez's film. Poor acting and a silly plot are only partly redeemed by a chilling ending.
