I get so angry when watching this movie. The story is nothing but a convoluted mess! with no sense of closure at the end (call me old fashioned but I like that in a movie). I find myself not caring about the characters, other than neo. Action is good as is the music. All in all this trilogy was 2 movies too many!

Best of the Three, and M.K. smith is deleted because Neo is connected to the source when Smith takes control of him, and therefore the machines can delete him it's nothing more complicated than that. Also I can see why people didn't like it because it doesn't end how they thought it would, and people don't like not getting closure. This trilogy is a grower and it time will be remembered as a masterpiece.

An excellent end to the trilogy! I remember feeling a bit underwhelmed by this initially but I have grown to love revolutions on my various rounds of binging the matrix trilogy. It really contains the soul of the story for the trilogy and although it perhaps attempts to reach a touch beyond what any cinematic production could deliver in terms of visuals for a 2003 production (flying is still a difficult thing to show on film) it does well to stick to the original writers vision and not curtail into something that just services an audience but instead challenges expectations for a more xen outcome on neos journey through this universe.
