movie based on a book of judy bloome. the story of a teenage girl who send to live with her aunt and husband after her father is murdered. and the adjustment period for all involved. not bad of a film.

A warm movie with a good lesson when facing tragedy. Worth a watch.

It's a pleasant-enough movie, but offers little that the book doesn't give its readers; far too quickly, it fades away.

I saw this at a festival last year and was very impressed! Great acting and BEAUTIFUL cinematography. Never read the book, but can say this definitely stands on its own as a movie.

Tiger Eyes retains some of the seriousness and respect for character that distinguishes Blume's YA books. What it lacks, however, is her strong authorial voice.
