While Jane Holman is driving with her two sons, she accidentally runs into a drifter, Jack McCloud, who breaks his leg. Being responsible, Jane invites Jack, and his dog, to stay at her home until his leg has healed. Jack struggles to adapt their lifestyle, and finds himself loved by the family.

Swayze was excellent and he wasn't alone. I found the movie a bit on the long side but I suppose it takes some time to forge the bonds of these new (or improved) relationships and of course to witness the personal alterations that also transpire... Even though the envelop for socially acceptable in the 50's is pushed, its definately worth a look.

all i have to say is patrick was amazin gin this movie. everyone should see it because we can learn so much. its an interesting story and its a must watch. its totally a family movie!
