A tad too long to be sure but the film is a delightful romp with terrific performances all round and a hilarious script that lovingly lampoons the fads and foibles of 20s US pop culture from flappers and golddiggers to white slavetraders and the Arrow Collar Man. It's terrif and delish!

I love this campy musical. John Gavin is the toast of male eye candy. Julie Andrews shines her yet again at what she does best. Watch out for Tori Spelling look a like Carol Channing in her creepy reindition of fairy godmother in gold lame.
