I know this is no critical favorite. But it hit all the right chords for me in that fleeting flash of just right. And the swingy Sixties backdrop feels like a vacation. From everything.

The best that can be said for There's a Girl in My Soup is that it is not quite as bad as its reputation. A belly flop in the careers of Peter Sellers and Goldie Hawn (she was fresh off her Oscar® for Cactus Flower), this Boulting ...

Meh. Very dated film attempts to make a statement about youth culture and mid-life crises, but it gets boring pretty fast and isn't all that funny. Sellers and Hawn make the film barely watchable. I was suckered into watching this since it's out of print on video and TCM was showing a nice widescreen version.
