This film is remarkable. Daniel Day Lewis is probably the best actor of our generation and Paul Thomas Anderson directed this movie to perfection.

This is my favorite movie of all time. The sociopathic role portrayed by Daniel Day Lewis in this Oscar winning performance leaves you with an uneasy feeling throughout the entire film and stays with you until after. The intensity and fierceness in his eyes over his will to succeed at all costs is quite possibly portrayed with an eloquence that will be hard for anyone to ever duplicate.

P.T Anderson gives fine direction in this excellent piece of work, but it would've probably been not that good without Daniel Day-Lewis giving his perfect performance as Plainview.

This is one of the most incredible movies i've seen in a while. Paul Thomas Anderson is a genius, he has a mind of real intellect. Daniel Day Lewis performance is a powerhouse, it'll blow you away and you'll end up reciting whatever he says or even imitate his acting. This movie was not only one of the best films of 2007, it's one of the best film ever made in the history of cinema film-making.

Possibly the finest film of Anderson's already incredible career, There Will Be Blood features beautiful cinematography, deep underlying layers of meaning, a wonderful plot told on an epic scale and crucially, Daniel Day Lewis at his very best. One of the greatest films released since the turn of the millenium.
