It reminded me of a western. Its slow paced but raw and smart and subtle. If you make it to the end you get one of the best gunfights since Heat.

Brilliance that is all subtlty and subtext. Most of what's happening is in what is NOT said or done or shown, which is probably why most robo-consumers dont understand it.

Absolutely amazing in many aspects. It combines western with modern crime drama. The characters are great and the setting is throughout. This doesn't even mention that there is a compelling story and some classic scenes. A true classic.

I still don't know why this movie didn't blow down the doors of every theater in every city in every nation. It knocked me on my ass, and I guess that's what counts.
