Great soundtrack wish they would release it with a better transfer.

Violent Professionals starts like gang buster with two cons breaking free of an armored train they are being transported in. After shooting a father and his young daughter the men are surrounded by the police were they surrender only to be shot by a 'fuck the books' cop. With an opening like this i had high hopes for this film. I mean ten minutes in and the sleaze is already being pour on thick. But unfortunatly the complicated script meanders too much in half baked ideas that never do come to light. Thats not to say this is a bad film. Its full of tight car chases, shoot'em up bank robberies and finely filmed fight sequences from director Sergio Martino. Martino has always been reliable with Giallos and my first exerience here with his Poliziotteschi isnt that much of a disappointment. But like i said the screenplay for this could of been alot tighter.

The Italian dirty Harry and very much so. Hard, gritty and action packed as long as you can excuse the bad dubbing.

This movie is an old italian flick about a cop going outside the law to get the bad guys and in the process he becomes almost as bad as them.

This Film is Part Of The Grindhouse Experience 20 Fil Feature Collection, Audio was bad at times, and the filmed actually rolled once or twice, Like if it was recored off TV. Filmed in Italy, seem to be a spin off of Dirty Harry. Car Crashes and Stunts Are Ole School but Ok. Glad I found it in a 20 Film Collection.
