A pretty fun horror movie with some decent thrills. The final act could have had a bit more action though, the siblings a bit more developed, and the final second of the movie didn't make much sense. Still really enjoyed it.

If you like watching OK horror movies this is for you. Spoilers. Yeah, some of the story doesn't follow through like why the siblings are there or have animosity toward each other. Also it says that the masked man was never found but I am assuming he died because he haunts the vault. James Franco is supposed to a ghost from 1983 but does he know he is a ghost? He says no one goes down to the old bank anymore though in his time he would have because there were no murders down there yet. So that means he knows he is hanging out in the future but then his past self is the one calling 911. So bizzare. Who is the man in the mask?

Interesting idea at best, poorly implemented at worst. The Vault is a mish-mash of two movie genres, that being bank heists and paranormal horror. A group of people plan a bank heist, what they don't know is that something is lurking in the darkness below. The whole affair starts off pretty good and gets the ball rolling and it doesnt take long for the paranormal aspects to kick in, the biggest issue here, is after the ghosts do show up, the move becomes a really, really slow burner. Further, there was audio problems with the copy I saw. The music and stuff was always just loud enough to make out what the actors were saying.
