I loved the story. It had so many layers and in a sea of shallow remakes and superhero films, it was refreshing to watch relationships and people connecting on many different levels. Oh...and no one shot a gun! Remarkable.

The ambitious sophomore effort from Shawn Christensen and team is more about the journey than the big reveal.

Andrew Winter 24 Mar 2018

It's ambitious, takes risks, and contains some finely crafted lines ("Life isn't very interesting unless you're a bit psychotic"), and yet I'm still not sure I could recommend you give up two hours of your life to see it.

It is pretentious like the difference between a John Irving novel and a quick summer read . The later being enjoyable but forgettable and the former something that takes sometime to get through is slow burn but sticks with you. 9% is way wrong sorry professional critics. 79% seems correct. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea but it drew me in and I really liked it.

Sidney Hall was a masterpiece of a movie. All actors delivered incredible performances throughout the film. Sidney Hall was crafted to perfection through flawless cinematography and plot, and the characters have feeling like none in other movies. This film makes you care, whether you like it or not, and it grows on you. The story goes from an interesting introduction to an unusual, gripping mystery. To describe this movie in one word. Flawless.
