The Turning is a collection of nine short films based on Tim Winton's stories, some of which are more satisfying than others but in all they give a sense of Australian landscape and life at the edges.

While The Turning didn't fully satisfy my cinematic appetite, at least it's bold enough to be different. I'm glad to have seen it.

Sometimes confusing connections between stories but beautiful cinematography! Left me mulling on it for a day or two, which is rare, but nice.
